Testing and Verification
How We Test Every Batch
Every peptide batch Nocap Research lists is tested by ILS Laboratories, an independent laboratory, before it goes on sale. Each batch gets its own certificate of analysis with a lot number and a link you can use to confirm the result with the lab directly.
Who tests our research peptides?
Batch testing is performed by ILS Laboratories LLC, an independent third-party analytical laboratory. The lab issues each certificate of analysis in its own name, with its lab director's name, a certificate number and an access code, and hosts a copy on its own verification portal. The certificates come from the lab, not from Nocap Research.
What does each certificate test?
Each certificate reports three things for the specific batch: identity, purity and content. Some batches also receive a fuller quality control panel.
- Identity. The lab confirms the compound by comparing the sample's HPLC retention time with a reference standard, and records the identity result as pass or fail.
- Purity. Peptide purity is measured by reversed-phase HPLC with UV detection at 214 nm, using area normalization: the percentage of the target peptide relative to all peptide-related peaks. The pass limit on our certificates is 95.0% or higher.
- Content. Net peptide content reports the measured amount of peptide in the vial, in milligrams, so it can be compared with the labeled amount.
- Full QC panel. The Tirzepatide and Retatrutide batches were also screened for elemental impurities by ICP-MS following USP chapter 233, with every element within its limit.
How can you verify a certificate yourself?
Every product page links to its batch certificate, and every certificate page links to the same report on the ILS Laboratories verification portal. Comparing the two confirms the document came from the lab and was not edited. Match the lot number on the certificate with the lot on your vial, and check that the analysis date is recent for that batch. The CoA checklist walks through the full set of checks, and it works on any supplier's paperwork, including ours.
Why do several compounds show the same lot number?
The current batch of each compound carries the lot code LOT-2026-001, so the same code appears on several different products. Each certificate is still unique to its compound and batch: it has its own ILS certificate number, its own verification link, its own sample receipt and analysis dates, and its own measured purity and content. The lab certificate number is shown next to the lot everywhere on this site. The lot code on a certificate should always match the lot printed on the vial.
