Storage and Handling

The material is supplied as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder. As a laboratory reagent, lyophilized peptide is generally stored desiccated and protected from light, with long-term storage commonly at -20C or below and short-term working material at 2C to 8C. For laboratory work the powder is solubilized in a solvent chosen for the intended in vitro application. These notes describe general handling of the material as a research reagent.
